Here is the "Remis" difference in buying a Reconditioned Charger:
When Remis sells a used charger it gets tested and “reconditioned” including the following:
· If known, adjust the AC input to the new setting· Install the correct AC input fuses (see above for costs)· If possible, run a full charge cycle at the new AC input voltage. This verifies the following:o The input is set correctlyo The charger turns on and off correctly, reducing risk of damage to the batteryo Charger runs at the correct voltage and current outputo DC fuse is goodo DC output cables and connector are goodo Basically the charger works from wall to battery· Inspect the DC cables for damage and replace if necessary· Install the correct DC connector (if known)· Vacuum/blow out dirt and debris from inside cabinet· Clean the outside of cabinet· Install appropriate safety stickers outside (if missing)
Have a great Day!
